Our two runners, Dr Ashley Liew and Evan Chee were podium finishers when they came in second and third respectively in StanChart Marathon race. On top of that, we also have Lim Thow Wee and Colin Chua coming in ninth and tenth position for local Men Open.

From a time of 3hr 07min in marathon, Dr Andreas Wenger took up training with Coach Rameshon and worked his way to do 2hr 43min in Berlin Marathon 2017.

Before StanChart Marathon, Dr Andreas met with an injury due to his involving in sea sport. Dr Andreas wanted to back out, however, with the recovery and limited training, he had decided to push our Team Flexifitness captain, during the race, who wanted to be in the top 10 in StanChart. Lim Thow Wee was a former Asian Marathon Championship representative for Singapore, he ran and got ninth position. He is now back in form to improve with the current physical condition.

As for Dr Andreas, it was a selfless service which enabled Lim Thow Wee to do 3hr 09min. After hours of waiting, with no announcements, only with Thibault’s help, we knew that Lim Thow Wee was local ninth. We just hope that results are posted before 10.30am so that Team Flexifitness winners of top 10 individual can take memorable photos. It is advised that the authorities could announce by 10.30am for top 10 for all categories or paste results out, as photo taking for all our prize winners was missed out for Lim Thow Wee and Colin Chua.
